It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 17th Nordic Congress on Cerebrovascular Diseases (Nordic Stroke 2013), which will take place on August 21-24, 2013 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
We hope that the Nordic Stroke 2013 will continue the tradition to serve as a stimulating forum for the international exchange of knowledge and closer collaboration between specialists of cerebrovascular disease - neurologists, neurosurgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, general practitioners as well as other health professionals around the Baltic Sea. Lectures given by outstanding keynote speakers, scientific sessions and symposia of Nordic Stroke 2013 will present an overview of the latest clinical developments and achievements in epidemiology, diagnosis, management, prophylaxis and rehabilitation of stroke in different countries.
Vilnius, the host city of the Congress, is the historical capital of Lithuania and dates back to the 14th century. It‘s remarkable old town has been awarded the status of World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Today Vilnius is a modern and bustling European city, with excellent facilities for conferences, a big range of quality hotels at reasonable prices and a very friendly and open population.
