CALL FOR PAPERS Submission of an abstract, topic of interest or proposal will be accepted for the purpose of registration. Time schedule to be determined later after all the papers have been received. Abstracts are currently being accepted. Based on the approval for submission of paper, deadline for submission of final paper is no later than October 11, 2013.   The symposium will provide a valuable opportunity for psychology professionals from different cultural backgrounds and diverse fields to explore the global impact of psychology as a field of practice on community and individual mental health care.   We would like to extend our warmest invitation to you to participate in the Global Psychology Symposium. The theme of the symposium is Psychology and Global Health, Changing Times, Changing Practice.   Psychology professionals play a pivotal role in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of mental health on a global scale. There is a global trend of shifting the focus of mental healthcare services from traditional settings to community based and family focused practice. Psychology professionals are increasingly called upon to respond to the needs of society and individuals in crisis, war, famine, economic turmoil, crime, murder, abuse, loneliness, and despair.   The symposium will provide a valuable opportunity for psychology professionals from different cultural backgrounds and diverse fields to explore the global impact of psychology as a field of practice on community and individual mental health care. An international perspective will be used to promote the generation and implementation of evidence based practice. Through sharing and exchange of information on the latest developments in the disciplines among experts from across the globe, the Conference will contribute to formulating global and regional strategies in advancing psychology.   REGISTRATION and FEE PLAN   In order to ensure that monies are applied towards the correct participant, please note your full name on all payments, documents and correspondence.   Presenter Non-Refundable/Non-Transferrable Registration Fee: 500 US Attendee Non-Refundable/Non-Transferrable Registration Fee: 350 USD 100 USD discount for paid registration fee received on or before September 11, 2013.
