30th International Conference on the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act
Organization: American Conference Institute
|Event Date/Time: Nov 18, 2013||End Date/Time: Nov 21, 2013|
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the flagship International Conference on the FCPA and Global Anti-Corruption. Senior representatives of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission, in-house and outside counsel, international organizations, investigators, and financial experts to participate in a dialogue on international issues and best practices in managing anti-corruption risk and responding effectively when problems are identified.
With an exceptional faculty, the 2013 Program includes “something for everyone,” whether you are just learning the topic or a highly seasoned practitioner. Importantly, you will hear from the U.S. enforcement agencies and representatives of the World Bank regarding trends and priorities as well as from in-house counsel who face these issues on a daily basis and evaluate program components and company responses to issues as they arise.
ACI has included in this year’s program some new topics such as the use of analytics and metrics in compliance, a “moot court” discussion on the most hotly-debated FCPA issues, and anonymous polling of the audience to gather this community’s best practices in FCPA compliance and risk management. In order to provide attendees with the opportunity to concentrate on particular areas of interest, the program now includes more Breakout Sessions to choose from, allowing participants a personalized conference experience. We hope that this format will provide you with a better overall conference experience and with relevant and valuable “take-aways” that can be applied in your daily work.
In addition to the substantive content, as the largest program dealing with these issues, ACI’s November FCPA Conference offers a unique opportunity to meet with colleagues in your industry who share common interests and challenges. With over 500 attendees expected, you are sure to walk away with valuable insights and proven-effective strategies on anti-corruption compliance for your companies and clients.
We hope that you will join us for an interesting and informative meeting.
