3rd International Conference Frontiers in Diagnostic Technologies for plasmas, fusion research, astrophysics, nuclear particle physics, accelerators, laser, medical equipments and industrial applications
The aim of this interdisciplinary conference is to bring together different scientific communities, laboratory plasmas, astrophysics, nuclear particle physics, accelerators, lasers, medical equipments and industrial applications, to discuss diagnostic measurements and technologies with a view to defining new strategies of common interest.
An award will be given to the best contributed paper presented by a young scientist.
Dates: from 25 November 2013 08:00 to 27 November 2013 19:15
Location: Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati Via E. Fermi, 40
Room: Aula Bruno Touschek (Building 36):
Chairs: Dr. Orsitto, Francesco Dr. Chiarella, Vitaliano
Additional info: The conference will cover the following topics:
1. Measurements of temperature and density
2. Energy spectrum of particles
3. Spectroscopy in various ranges of wavelengths
4. Imaging in various ranges of wavelengths
5. Techniques of analysis of massive databases
The programme will include tutorial lectures, invited oral presentations and posters.
The conference is organized by ENEA (Italian Agency for the development of new technologies, energy and environment) and INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics), and sponsored by the Universities of Milano Bicocca, Roma II "Tor Vergata", Quanta System SpA, CAEN S.p.A. Tomowave S.r.l, Thales Alenia Space and by Consorzio RFX Padova.
The Conference will be organized in 5 plenary half-day sessions, each dedicated to one topic, and one poster session. In each session there will be at least one tutorial lecture and 5 invited talks. A satellite meeting will be organized on "Scattering of coherent light".
