The fourth version of the Colombian Meeting and International Conference on Air Quality and Public Health will be held in Bogota, Colombia to promote the discussion and exchange of experiencies on topics associated with air quality and public health.
1.Sampling, analysis and modeling of weather and air quality. New techniques for monitoring and analysis of atmospheric pollutants, atmospheric chemistry, results from monitoring air quality networks, application of photochemical, receptor and meteorological models.
2.Productive activities and air quality. Impact of mobile and point emissions, emissions from commercial, mining and fugitive sources in the air quality and noise.
3.Public policy, urban planning, climate change and air quality. Impact of land use, mobility plans and policies on air quality and climate change. Open discussion on the use of biofuels for transport.
4.Public health and air quality. Advances in research on the impact of air pollution on respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, epidemiological and toxicological studies of pollution exposure.
5.Emerging issues on environmental health. Intramural air pollution, development of environmental health indicators, social determinants of health and environmental disease burden.

Jennifer Peel, Associate Professor at Colorado State University. Researcher in epidemiology and air quality.
Andreas Meyer, consultant for the Environmental Protection Agency in Switzerland on reduction of diesel engine emissions.
Nga Lee Ng, Assistant Professor Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. Her research includes the chemistry of atmospheric aerosols.
Saulo Freitas, Researcher Center for Weather Prediction and Climate Studies Brazil, expert in meteorological and air quality modeling.
Bhola Gurjar, professor at the University of India with extensive experience in public policy development in developing countries.
