The conference is organized 20 years after the first conference of this series and devoted to the successes of organic chemistry. 20 years later: 6-TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS ON ORGANIC CHEMISTRY INTERCYS-2014 "ORGANIC CHEMISTRY TODAY" The conference will be held in September 23-25, 2014 in St. Petersburg indoors the Mendeleev Centre located at Universitetskaya nab., 7. The topics of the conference will reflect modern trends in organic synthesis, synthetic design, new methods and reagents, alternative synthetic approaches, using the achievements of theoretical chemistry in organic synthesis and interpretation of the mechanisms of organic reactions, environmental problems and medicinal chemistry. The program of the conference will include plenary lectures of prominent Russian and foreign scientists, key oral presentations by young chemists (under 35 years), graduate students, doctoral students, and poster presentations followed by discussions at the round table. There will be released a book of abstracts which will include not only materials of the conference but also some useful information from the history of science and universities as well as the problems of modern university education.
