Description

Academics, managers and practitioners seeking alternatives to business-as-usual come together to share current research findings and gather fresh insights into sustainable leadership practices at this conference. This is the 9th international symposium hosted by the non-profit research organization, the Institute for Sustainable Leadership (see http://www.instituteforsustainableleadership.com/Home.html).

Sustainable Leadership incorporates those behaviors, practices and systems that create enduring value for all stakeholders of organizations including investors, the planet, other species, future generations, customers, suppliers and the local community.

Papers are called for on diverse relevant topics including:

  • new perspectives on sustainable leadership
  • applications and case studies
  • critical perspectives
  • challenges in applying sustainable practices
  • changing mindsets and behaviors
  • specific sustainable leadership practices
  • and the cultural relevance of sustainable practices.

Abstracts/proposals (100-200 words) are due by 15 December, 2013 for review.

Accepted proposals can be developed into full papers for double-blind peer refereeing, due by 1 February, 2014. Refereed papers are presented and published in the conference proceedings.
