  • challenges in applying sustainable practices
  • changing mindsets and behaviors
  • specific sustainable leadership practices
  • and the cultural relevance of sustainable practices.

Abstracts/proposals (100-200 words) are due by 15 December, 2013.

Accepted proposals can be developed into full papers for double-blind refereeing, due by 1 February, 2014. Refereed papers are presented and published in the conference proceedings.

Special features of ISL conferences include:

Both of which are featured regularly in business and industry publications. Industry practitioner panel – an interactive session where panelists discuss challenges and successes in implementing sustainable practices, and answer audience questions.

External Development Day – in 2014, cross the border into Germany to visit a ‘honeybee’ organization in Bavaria’s cosmopolitan capital, Munich, and see sustainable leadership in operation. Afterwards network informally while enjoying local sights. (This day is an optional extra).
