1.Adria Hotel Forum has been held in February 2013 and it has gathered Croatian and foreign experts discussing on potential developments and investments in hotel industry. Vice Presidents of the two largest hotel management companies- InterContinental Hotels and Hilton Worldwide have also participated at the Forum. Forum goal was to emphasize communication and opinion exchange as well as the presentation of world examples that have ensured the tourism development in their regions.

Adria Hotel Forum, in its second edition, is moving one step further. The Forum 2014 theme is: “Investments and innovations”. During the first day, the panels will be focused on investments- the ones that already happened after Croatia has joined EU and the ones that should happen in future periods. During the second day it will gather and present potential investments in innovations as the model of attracting new markets and generating new supply, everything with the goal of quality upgrade and creating added value for the guest and the owners at the same moment.

Members of the Organizational board are: Kristian Šustar (HUP-Zagreb), Sanja Čižmar (Horwath HTL), Marina Franolić (Adria Forum) and Rasti Nikolić (Adria Forum).

AHF 2013 was under patronage of Ministry of tourism, UPUHH/ Association of Employers in Croatian Hospitality, OMH/ Association of small and family hotels, Croatian Chamber of Commerce, City of Zagreb and Istrian County.


The Forum target groups are hoteliers, consulting companies, investors and all tourism sector professions.



In 2014 Forum will, except of the panels and round-table discussions, have additional program as follows:


  1. ASIC/ Adria Student Innovation Contest on the main topic “Innovative products / project  as a model to prolong the tourist season in Croatia”


  1. One-day training for proposals on the EU Structural Funds

In close cooperation with the company that has years-long experience in EU funding of tourism projects, we want to bring closer to all interested participants the application process and application possibilities that would result in a large number of investments in tourism


  1. One-day training for hotel managers in collaboration with the leading faculty of hotel management



Adria Hotel Forum is a relevant point of the world's experts and encourages communication and development of stakeholders of tourism industry and aims long to be "think tank" of industry that connects people and creates the possibility of additional value and interest of foreign investors in Croatia.
