Organization: Progress Seminars Inc.
|Event Date/Time: Oct 22, 2015 / 8:30 am - (MST)||End Date/Time: Oct 23, 2015 / 4:30 pm - (MST)|
This 2-Day Cement Log Evaluation workshop will illustrate the application of cement logs for cement evaluation, which is essential to successful completions and meeting AER requirements. Actual log examples including SAGD and horizontal wells are utilized to illustrate different type of logs and allow a comparison for log quality and evaluation of interpretation techniques. There will be exercises of making squeeze or no squeeze decisions and discussion of influences from drilling and mud removal techniques. Included are practical guide lines for successfully evaluating cement integrity and isolation.
A complete set of course materials and lunch is included in the Cement Log Evaluation course.
Who Should Attend
This Cement Log Evaluation course will apply to those professionals involved in cementing, completions and work-over. Those solving problems particularly related to SAGD and AER approval. Those evaluating foam or light weight cements, which have posed unique problems and detailed techniques for those circumstances. Those involved in horizontal well completions today where isolation between frac stages is required and sometimes difficult to achieve.
