Competence in Cancer Care: What the Nurse Needs to Know

Comprehensive One-Day Course: Scientific basis for practice, treatment modalities, protective mechanisms, disease process, alterations in lifestyle, health promotion, and oncologic emergencies.

Fee: $102.45 to attend; $92.23 for verified Texas Oncology employees (to qualify for discount and obtain CNE certificate of completion, you must provide valid and current Texas Oncology email address at registration).
NOEP recognizes that cost should not be a barrier to attendance. Scholarships are available through a grant by the LIVESTRONG Foundation. Your registration fee may be waived upon written request to NOEP with an explanation of your extenuating circumstances. Requests must be received by July 28, 2014 to be considered.
Contact Hours: Nurses who participate will receive 7.75 contact hours. Texas Nurses Association/Foundation Provider Unit is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The Nurse Oncology Education Program (NOEP) is part of Texas Nurses Association/Foundation Provider Unit.
