Most people are familiar with overactive bladder syndrome, but what about the opposite problem—a bladder that can’t empty? This is also known as detrusor underactivity or underactive bladder (UAB).
The 2014 CURE-UAB symposium provides a special opportunity to join the first meeting dedicated exclusively to this growing issue in healthcare. CURE-UAB will be held at the North Marriot Hotel and Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland on February 20th and 21st, 2014.
The 1-1/2 day meeting will feature a diverse curriculum of formal presentations and working groups on controversial areas of UAB. Our course directors and internationally recognized faculty have designed a dynamic and interactive educational program. Working groups will exchange ideas and work towards consensus concerning the definition, nomenclature of the condition, development of diagnostic criteria and areas in which future research is needed.
We invite disease stakeholder including patients, physicians, scientists, industry and governmental representatives to join us in groundbreaking discussions and to help identify research priorities for National Institutes of Health.
Scientific poster session will be available for delegates wishing to present their cutting edge research and clinical developments on underactive bladder. Continuing medical education credits will be provided to physicians.
