CyberTech Israel 2014
Organization: Israel Defense, Kenes Exhibitions , Israel National Cyber Bureau
|Event Date/Time: Jan 27, 2014||End Date/Time: Jan 29, 2014|
Cyber Tech Israel (CTI) will be the first of a series of International Cyber Tech campaigns, to be held in close partnership with Israel Defense and in association with Israel National Cyber Bureau.Â
The Cyber Tech Israel event will focus on commercial problem solving strategies and solutions for cyberinfrastructure experts across many industry sectors; security, technology, energy, utilities, finance, defense, R&D, agriculture, manufacturing, service sectors, health, media, government, education, retail, telecommunications, transport and travel. More accurately defined as, any industry sector that relies upon a safe, secure, reliable cyber network, for the transmission and flow of information.
Cyber Tech Israel is a commercially focused initiative timed to facilitate Israel’s wider strategic goal of becoming one of the leading nations in the field of cyber security. Israel already has an established reputation amongst the international community for being one of the most innovative nations across multiple industry sectors so, on that basis, CTI wishes to position itself as the official event vehicle facilitating the goals of the newly formed Israel National Cyber Bureau (INCB). Such is the importance of the INCB; operating as part of the Prime Minister’s office INCB has full political support and priority in what is seen to be an ever increasingly volatile, borderless Cyber world. It seems clear that business, IT, and security executives are paying more attention, funding cyber security initiatives, and seeking industry knowledge about threats, vulnerabilities, and defenses. CTI must be the facilitator of timely topics, serious discussions, and a rational perspective on where we are and what we need to do to protect vulnerable cyber networks.
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Cyber security technology solutions are now centre stage given the increasing sophistication and frequency of global cyber threats. With well documented cases of attacks being presented in the media on a regular basis, it is becoming clear the cyber security industry has presented both the public and private sectors with serious challenges and enormous opportunity. As a result, the cyber solutions market has been growing at record pace. Those institutions that have therefore identified the trend and acted upon it will benefit. The international cyber arms race is on and rapid growth within the sector has been driven by the needs of nearly every organization to take precautionary measures ensuring a safe, secure, reliable cyber network, for the transmission and flow of information.
With this overview in mind, the event organizers are pleased to announce a three-day International Cyber Security Exhibition and Conference to be held at the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center in Tel-Aviv. The event will be attended by global leading players in the cyber security field and will include a showcase exhibition along with a world leading conference.
The focus will be on presenting commercial problem solving strategies and solutions for cyber infrastructure experts across multiple sectors; security, technology, energy, utilities, finance, defense, R&D, agriculture, manufacturing, service sectors, health, media, government, education, retail, telecommunications, transport and travel.
A festive cocktail reception will conclude the three-day event, followed by a guided tour to some of Israel’s leading civilian sector cyber R&D centers.
Cyber Tech Exhibition and Conference will provide attendants with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the latest innovations and solutions from amongst the international cyber community combined with a focused opportunity to network, either strengthening existing alliances, or forming new ones.
It is with great anticipation and excitement we invite you to take part.
