DevelopingEM 2016 Sri Lanka
Announcing new dates for DevelopingEM 2016….. Sri Lanka
‘An Emergency Medicine & Critical Care Conference with a Conscience’
We are delighted to confirm the new dates for ‘DevelopingEm 2016’, with an exciting new location and truly unique venue. Our annual conference will be held in the historic city of Colombo, Sri Lanka between the 5th to the 8th of December, 2016. We are also very pleased to confirm the conference is to be held at the unique and beautiful Galle Face Hotel in Colombo. This unique event not only offers an outstanding and focused learning experience but also presents the opportunity to visit this enchanting country. Convening global emergency physicians, intensive care specialists, anaesthetists, general practitioners, and generalists in the field – the 2016 event looks set to be a key ‘add’ to next year’s calendar.
We are currently developing the agenda with our global faculty and have received extraordinary local and regional interest – we will be updating developments on our 2016 – Sri Lanka page: srilanka.developingem.com
Pre and post conference activities around the core agenda are also planned.

We hope you can join us in 2016, to enjoy the outstanding DevelopingEM experience with colleagues – worldwide.
The components will include an academic program, optional sessions and a social program. The makeup of the program is currently being finalised by our program managers, but will include topics including Adult Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, Toxicology, Paediatrics, Trauma medicine, Global EM and EM in South Asia. We hope to have several optional workshops and site visits during the conference in Colombo and Galle.
DevelopingEM has established ties with local Sri Lankan critical care specialists and organizations in order to secure local involvement in both attending and presenting at the conference.
Sponsorship of Regional Delegates and Provision of Medical Hardware
Using our established model we hope to sponsor the attendance off all regional delegates at a ratio of at least two non regional delegate for every one regional delegate. We also hope to supply useful medical hardware to the region. This hardware is supplied by DevelopingEM with options to sponsor items being possible for non regional delegates.
