ECCA 2015 – 2nd European Climate Change Adaptation Conference
12-14 May 2015, Copenhagen, Denmark
The 2nd European Climate Change Adaptation Conference integrates climate adaption action in science, policy, practitioners, and business.
The conference covers a broad range of issues related to climate change adaptation, and offers a unique platform for researchers, policymakers, practitioners (including cities) and business in the field of climate change impacts and adaptation to share new research results, novel policy developments and practical implementation experiences.
The conference will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Copenhagen won the Index Award in 2013 for their innovative adaptation plans, and has been awarded the European Green Capital 2014. By 2025, Copenhagen will be one of the first CO2-neutral capitals in the world.
ECCA2015 is an initiative of the European Commission and three major European research projects; BASE, RAMSES and TopDad.
Integrating climate adaptation action in science, policy, practice and business
Different types of sessions have been designed to combine scientific and practical knowledge, policy making processes and business cases. 1. Knowledge: including sessions presenting and discussing the latest research results 2. Practice: including dialogues on costs and benefits, strategies, governance, tools, and implementation 3. Business: focusing on facilitating public-private partnerships and identifying business opportunities and solutions

Exhibition during ECCA 2015
A commercial exhibition will be arranged in conjunction with the conference. The exhibition will also take place at Bella Center during ECCA2015. Exhibiting provides an unparalleled opportunity to reach professionals, academics, practitioners, decision-makers, policymakers from all cross Europe and beyond.
We will integrate the commercial exhibition with the poster exhibition, and the catering services and thus ensure that the exhibition becomes an integral part of the entire conference.
