What is Faff Camp?
Faff Camp is a carefully curated collection of practical content by and for voiceover professionals.
Who should come? Voice talents, audio editors and audio engineers, casting directors, producers, copywriters, booth directors, and you!
What are the qualifications to attend? Unlike FaffCon, where applicants need to meet certain prerequisites to participant, registration to Faff Camp is open to voiceover professionals at all levels.
Be aware, though, that the content is aimed toward the experienced professional. If you are just starting out, you are welcome to come. But the industry newcomers who will get the most out of the experience are smart, ambitious, and have taken the initiative to do some homework online (to get the easy questions out of the way).
Even though the bulk of the Faff Camp content will be aimed at the working pro who would like to get even better at this thing and make more money doing it, we will carve out opportunities for newcomers to get their questions answered along the way. (Jot those questions down as they pop into your head!)
Who will the speakers be? That hasn’t been determined yet. A formal call for presentations will appear on the site shortly. Speakers must have lead Topic Sessions at two or more FaffCon events, and there is no selling from the Camp Faff stage.
Will there be an opportunity to learn about cool gear and other products and services that make our businesses and lives better and easier? Absolutely! Camp Faff will have a kickin’ table top trade show on Friday, with mini seminars and demonstrations all day! (Friday Only passes will be available if you can’t stay for the whole weekend.)
