Following attendance at this educational activity, participants should be able to: â€¢Review the normal anatomy of human skin â€¢Examine the mouth â€¢Review techniques used to examine the skin â€¢List the functions of the skin â€¢Review the tissues and cells of the skin â€¢Evaluate bacterial, viral, and fungal diseases of the skin â€¢Recognize different types of dermatitis â€¢List six Papulosquamous diseases â€¢Define open and closed comedone â€¢Describe the clinical features of warts â€¢Review the effects of aging on skin, hair and nails â€¢Describe characteristics of acute oral ulcers This Live activity, Family Medicine: Dermatology Review, with a beginning date of June 16, 2012, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 13.50 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
