The course in “Infrastructure Financing and Public Private Partnerships“ offers insights in the complexity of large scale infrastructure projects by using an interdisciplinary approach to explain the impact from various perspectives of different stakeholders. The full course will be offered in four days from the 27th of August to the 30th of August 2013.
The Chair of Construction Economics at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar aims to develop management practices for managers at all levels and in all spheres of the built environment - be it from the side of the public authorities, designer, contractor, financing institutions or user. It also aims to equip professionals in the industry with some of the necessary background to understand the challenges of the construction environment and related economic terms.
The purpose of this course in Infrastructure Financing and PPP is to provide course participants with an understanding of the concepts and characteristics of different kinds of infrastructure procurement and financing considering the need for the development of economic sustainable infrastructure projects.
