Technical Presentations The Programme Committee has targeted specific areas for presentation and invites papers on the following:

• Development of materials for improved fire safety  • Environmental concerns • Fire performance of materials and products • Fire retardants, including nanocomposites • Fire testing  • Fire safety engineering • Fire modeling • Fire hazard and risk assessment  • Combustion products – heat, smoke and toxic gas  • Fire safety in transportation • Fire safety of contents and furnishings, including furniture • Fire and electrical/electronics, including cables • Fire and building product, including facades and sandwich panels • Fires in residential premises  • Fire resistance • Fire safety codes and regulations • Fire investigation • Industrial fire safety  • Wildland fires

Commercial Presentations The commercial session enables producers to give brief (10 minutes) presentations describing their companies’ new products and/or capabilities in tune with the general conference theme. Space available is limited and interested companies should contact the organisers as soon as possible.

Submission Dates  • To submit a paper send a maximum 2 page abstract including tables and images etc for review to the organisers before June 10, 2016. (Format: A4 paper, 1 inch margins, 11pt Arial font, max 2 pages).  • Authors will be advised of acceptance by September 14, 2016. • A final version of the full paper is required by December 1, 2016.  • Papers will be eligible for publication in Fire and Materials Journal. 1 speaker per technical paper will be entitled to register for the conference at a subsidised rate.
