This one-day course will equip leaders at all levels with the performance management skills they need to build high performing teams. Participants discover how the most effective leaders make every performance count, building on successes and correcting shortcomings through expert feedback, progressive discipline and learning how to hold the most difficult conversations with skill and confidence. Through a combination of lecture, video clips, and small group exercises participants will discover how to respond to the full range of performances from best to worst.

As the former president of the Calgary Herald, Dan Gaynor built a reputation as a leader who can build strong teams and deliver superior performance, resolving a challenging labour dispute and taking the Herald to record levels of performance. Dan founded Gaynor Consulting in 2003 to pass on the same timeless and practical leadership skills he used to develop his own high performance teams. He is a former Chairman at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, and currently works with a wide variety of companies across diverse sectors as a teacher, executive coach, and speaker.
