FutureGov Summit Australia 4th annual has affirmed its position as Australia’s ICTGovernment gathering. Since its inception in 2010, FutureGov Summit Australia has cemented its place to bring together the Australian and International Governments senior public servants to collaborate on issues of ICT in government. Last year, the summit was attended by over 200 attendees from Australian and International Governments and had over 40 speakers who represented the Australian Federal, State and International Governments.

The Australian Public Service ICT strategy 2012-2015 is guiding the decision to align and develop common approaches to ICT across the Australian Government. Key issues that the government is tackling include, collaborating in new ways across and outside public service boundaries to increase on government‘s investment to deliver holistic and personalised services, aligning ICT to meet government business needs; and building a networked government.
