Google Apps for Education North of England Summit

The Google Apps for Education North of England Summit is a fantastic two day event taking place in the on Saturday April 27th and Sunday April 28th. The summit is focused on helping you get the most out of Google Apps for Education in both 'primary/secondary schools' and 'Higher Education' environments. We have sessions lead by some of the worlds leading Google apps experts including Google staff and Google Certified Teachers and trainers. There will be sessions for teachers/lecturers, school administrators and school IT managers. We guarantee you will leave the summit with knowledge that you can take away to your school and start using straight away. In addition we will have a 'Chromebooks playground'; A dedicated classroom with experts on hand where you can drop in at any time during the conference to try out Google Chromebooks.
Ross Mahon Ross Mahon is a Google Apps Education evangelist and education community leader at Google. He works with Universities, FE collages, ITs and Schools spreading the Google message of 100% cloud communication and collaboration offering along with Chromebooks. Zoe Ross Zoe Ross is a Computing & ICT teacher, Google Certified Trainer and Entrepreneur. She has worked with schools and organisations throughout the UK to help them set up and implement Google Apps effectively. Her interests in Google Apps lie around the power to increase productivity, encourage collaboration and ultimately, increase student achievement. Allison Mollica Allison Mollica, AM Technology Edu, is a Google Apps for Edu Certified trainer and an educational technology leader, facilitator & enthusiast! Allison has worked in educational technology for over 15 years and has a Master's in Technology in Education and Advanced Certificate in Online Instruction through Lesley University. Ken Shelton Ken currently holds a M.A. in Education, with a specialization in New Media Design and Production. He has worked as an educator for 9 years and currently teaches technology at the Middle School level. As a part of his active involvement within the Educational Technology community, Ken is a Google Certified Teacher, an Apple Distinguished Educator, a Discovery STAR Educator, and a member of the Discovery Educator Network California Leadership Council. Ken was also recently appointed to the California Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Educational Technology Task Force. Ken regularly gives presentations and leads workshops, many of which are hands on, covering a wide variety of educational technology, technology integration, creative expression, and instructional design topics.
