Description

IEC 61850 Europe 2013 takes place 22-24 May, at NH Hotel Prague, Czech Republic, and provides a real-life review of IEC 61850 practical implementations by the key European TSOs and DSOs. 16 case study presentations will be given by representatives of National Grid, Elia, RTE, Gas Natural Fenosa, ENEL, DONG Energy, Alliander, Stedin, amongst others. The focus will be on achieving multi-vendor interoperability in the implementation of IEC 61850. To ensure the delegation is fully briefed and up to speed on the essential building blocks of this complex standard, a pre-conference workshop on the Fundamentals of IEC 61850 will be delivered on 22 May 2013, by Christoph Brunner, President of it4power and Convenor of IEC TC 57 WG 10. This event will be the occasion to meet with all the key stakeholders within the IEC 61850 community with a specific focus on utility implementations and perspectives.
