The Second Annual Conference on Student-Centered EducationWednesday, October 22 and Thursday, October 23, 2014 Four Points by Sheraton, Norwood, MA
Today, educators are under great pressure to conform to a “one-size-fits-all” model of education, as policy-makers move increasingly toward uniformity in standards, curricula, assessments and more. Yet we know that no two children are alike, and each student has different assets, challenges, interests, and needs.
How, then, do we create classrooms and schools that are truly student-centered?
INSPIRE 2014 will bring educators together for two days of learning, sharing, networking, and strategizing about how to provide a world-class education to the most diverse population of students our nation has ever known.12 learning and education spectrum in areas as diverse as child development, research, psychology, teaching, policy and leadership and special education.
Workshops and discussions will be led by teachers, practitioners and experts in the fields of education, neuroscience, and psychology and will share proven strategies and techniques on how to bring student-centered education practices to the classroom.
