Description

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

The current socioeconomic growth of Asia is expanding translation activities and translation studies simultaneously within and across the continent. Languages and cultures of Asia are being explored extensively both as the source and the target languages in comparison with the major western languages and other Asian languages.

This interdisciplinary conference aims to provide opportunities for experienced and young international researchers, translators and educators to present, share and exchange their views on the translation of Asian languages in a supportive academic environment and to publicise their research to an international audience.
