Description

The Seventh Indo-US Workshop on Mathematical Chemistry will bring together scientists involved in basic and applied research in the fields Mathematical and Computational Chemistry. Eminent specialists from India, the United States of America, and other countries will deliver the lead lectures. Presentations from younger research communities in universities, research laboratories, and institutions, both corporate and public, are envisaged. Talented research students showing promises are also being looked for presentation of papers. The results of the latest research in the field will be presented along with important applications to chemistry, drug discovery, environmental protection, quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSARs), quantitative molecular similarity analysis (QMSA), chemoinformatics and bioinformatics, including genomics, proteomics, systems biology, and metabolomics.

The program of the Seventh Indo-US workshop will be designed based on our experience gained from conducting six previous Indo-US Workshops on Mathematical Chemistry, four Indo-US Lecture Series on Discrete Mathematical Chemistry, training schools for young scholars, held around India during January, 2007 through January, 2009, as well as two Mathematical Chemistry Workshops of the Americas:
