Description
The aim of this conference is to explore the challenges of transition and the transformations of the international arena in the aftermath of the collapse of communism and the dissolution of USSR. On this note, we invite doctoral students, researchers and faculty staff from the field of social sciences to participate with papers on the following topics (and not only):
1) theories of transition;
2) processes of democratization;
3) political elites;
4) socio-economic policies;
5) public administration;
6) party systems and electoral systems;
7) political elections and electoral campaigns;
8) the legal system;
9) political culture;
10) civil society;
11) political representation and mass-media;
12) international relations and regionalism;
13) equal opportunities and human rights;
14) the role of the intellectual in post-communist societies.
