About the workshop

The International Workshop on Computer-Aided Computer Aided Engineering and Robust Design, provides a forum for discussion of recent developments on modeling, analysis and simulation tools and techniques for the design optimization of mechanical system/components. It is an extension of our earlier international conference on Design and advances in Mechanical Engineering organized in 2011. In this context, this workshop will provide a platform in expressing application trends, progress and future course of computer aided engineering & simulation in robust design of products.

 

Theme and scope

The workshop focuses and comprehensively discusses the role and usage of computer aided engineering in robust product development. The inevitable role of computer aided engineering is enormous in product development. The workshop helps to build basic ability to evaluate complex mechanical systems from a multitude of perspectives. It takes account of adding ability to apply facts of merit and integrated optimization tools. Also the ability to perform multi-disciplinary trade studies to evaluate design alternatives for functional and structural requirements. The workshop will cover certain degree of knowledge about newer materials like polymers composites and ceramics for structural application.
