Description
This workshop aims to grasp innovative ideas from researchers who focus mainly on using IT as a tool for adding value to organisations. The workshop welcomes papers in the fields of information systems and more precisely in the areas of business processes modelling / engineering, information management, project management and enterprise computing. Moreover, papers which address: business solutions, development methods (based on the use of models), design, analysis, synthesis, deployment, testing and maintenance of complex project environments with a view to produce quality solutions, that can contribute to corporate decision making at a strategic level are also welcome.

Publication The papers will be selected based on a double blind review by PC members. At least one author per accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference. All accepted papers will be published by Springer as a volume of the series of IFIP Advances in Information and Communication Technology (IFIP AICT). In addition, selected papers from conference proceedings will be recommended, with substantial extension, for publication in special issues of the following journals (subject to confirmation):
- Computing and Informatics (SCI Expanded/ISI)
- Business and Information Systems Engineering (SCI Expanded/ISI)
- Malaysian Journal of Computer Science (SCI Expanded/ISI)
Conference Venue ICISO 2014 will be hosted by the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE enjoys a reputation of one of top-ranked research universities in China, especially in finance and economics.) Shanghai is a financial capital in the world. It is the biggest city in China with strong influence in commerce, finance, media and fashion.
