Description
The theme of the IPHN 2013 conference, ‘Making the Difference: The Public Health Nursing Contribution to Primary Health Care’, reflects the contribution and the difference that Public Health Nursing makes to the health of populations around the world. The conference will present evidence-based research from several countries that will be of interest to policy makers, nationally and internationally, in the wake of health reforms.
The conference will host internationally renowned keynote speakers from Australia, the USA, Brazil, the UK, and Ireland. The opening address will be delivered by Alex White TD, Ireland’s Minister of State for Primary Care, and Dr Michael Shannon (Nursing and Midwifery Unit, HSE Ireland) will act as Guest Speaker. IPHNC 2013 is accredited by the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board.
