The OSU Center for Executive and Professional Development presents a two-day program for business professionals.
Dr. Eastman, Spears School of Business interim dean, will start off the two-day seminar on Dec. 18, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. He will help participants identify the roles, skills and expectations of managers, understand and develop sources of power, explore leadership styles and learn effective leadership actions.
Dr. Basu, vice president for academic affairs at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa will discuss mentoring, enhancing employee performance and coaching and employee enhancement on Dec. 20, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants will learn mentoring skills and behaviors, understand different motivational approaches of employees and how to utilize effective two-way communication.
Each full-day session of the Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching for Outstanding Performance is $325.
