Description

The last few decades have witnessed a significant change in the educational sector globally. There have been developments, innovations, research and revolutionary changes in the methods of teaching and curriculum. The Indian Education space has had very few opportunities or forums for educationists and researchers to share their learning & experiences with the Edutopia. In our attempt to converge and diffuse the good practices, be it local or transcontinental, MENTOR MAGAZINE brings forth

MENTOR CONCLAVE 2012
Questioning and Co-creating Education
16-18 Nov 2012
J. N. Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore

MENTOR Magazine, India's most respected print magazine focused on school leadership, principals and educators; organised its first conclave titled Excellence in School Education in November 2011. The Conclave witnessed an exchange of ideas, learning on various issues and addressed concerns to improve the quality of education imparted to children. The conclave was highly appreciated and commended for its content, relevance and the bonhomie it created amongst the participants

The MENTOR Conclave 2012 aims to provide a multinational platform for eminent educators, practitioners and researchers from across the globe to come together and share their experiences, knowledge, innovations and the latest trends in education. It aims at providing relevant questions for all participants to work with to co-create quality education.

The conclave will be explored through an interesting combination of conference sessions, workshops, panel discussions, exhibitions and audience marketplace.  We, at Mentor Magazine believe that it is not only the speakers but even the participants who have some valuable experience and learning which they might want to share with the Edutopia. In keeping with this thought, the conclave features a pioneering learning concept titled Audience Marketplace for all our participants who are interested in sharing their experiences with the rest of the educational guild.

In addition to the invited speakers, the conclave will also witness a host of educators and practitioners who will present their research/experience papers shortlisted from our “Call for Paper” campaign. Over 100 research and experience papers have been received and about 10 authors will get an opportunity to share their work at the Conclave. The most meaningful paper submissions will also be featured in the first edition of Mentor Journal which aims to set a benchmark among educational research publications.
