 The First International Conference on Mobile and Embedded Technologyin collaboration with DST (Department of Science and Technology), Technically sponsored byURSI (International Union of Radio Science) and IEEE is being organized by theDepartment of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amity School of Engineering and Technology on 17th -18th January 2013.This conference is in succession with the two National Conferences based on the same theme i.e. MECON. This conference sets platform for scientists and academicians who meet and mingle to produce new shades of experience and meaning.  When time-honored practices are viewed through the lens of new technologies, and old materials are used in fresh ways, uncommon visions emerge resulting in evolvement of new technologies.

The conference will create fresh patterns, new channels and platform for the scientists, academicians, research scholars and industries to showcase their products, ideas, innovations in areas related to Mobile Communication and Embedded Technology. MECON-2013 features an extensive array of exciting lectures by the scientists, academicians, industry experts that showcase excellence and innovation, designed to give you an experience that is inspiring, challenging, and energizing. This conference will help your innovative ideas to blossom to a new creative level.

MECON-2013 is the third series of conference in the field of Mobile Communication & Embedded technology, hosted by Amity School of Engineering & Technology. This conference aims to spur research progress by serving as a forum in which   academia, industry and students can exchange their experiences and knowledge in the field of embedded systems, Mobile Communication and Computing combined with the rapid evolution in smart phones and devices, generates new challenges and problems requiring interactions between different network layers and applications in order to offer advanced services. This conference also aims at bringing forward the challenges, the related upcoming technologies and their implementation.
