SIMCOMVEC - SAEINDIA International Mobility Conference & Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress brought by SAEINDIA & SAE International from 4th to 7th December 2013
The conference will focus on key technology issues relevant to mobility engineering such as Safety, Design, Information Technology, Electronics, Fuels & Environment. A strong national & international level participation comprising engineers, designers & scientists from OEM, component industry, R&D organizations, educational institutions and the student community is expected.

Recent tumultuous economic meltdown has brought out the important of economic viability of vehicles and technologies. Growing environment and safety concerns are leading to stricter safety and emission norms globally. Our gluttonous consumption of non renewable fossil fuels has led to rapid depletion of these resources, prompting the need of conserving them with better efficiency. This has also brought about an unprecedented urgency to our search for alternative fuels and other renewable energy sources. These stark challenges require sharply honed human resources to provide breakthrough innovative technologies.
SAEINDIA, the largest affiliate of SAE International, is organizing this congress along with an exposition that will focus on research and innovative technologies relevant to sustainable mobility. CALL FOR PAPERSAbstracts of papers are to be sent to the Convener on or before Friday, the 07th June 2013. Abstract should be limited to maximum 300 words, emphasizing significance of analytical / experimental study and originality of the contribution. Abstracts will be evaluated by a group of experts. Draft manuscripts of selected abstracts will be invited for evaluation according to SAE technical paper quality guidelines.
