TECHNOLOGY VENTURES CONFERENCE
Cambridge's Technology Ventures Conference (TVC) is one of the largest non-profit student-led entrepreneurship conferences in the world. We bring together more than 400 entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, academics, and students to share, collaborate, and connect with visionary thinkers on all aspects of technology and entrepreneurship. The conference is organized by the Cambridge University Technology & Enterprise Club (CUTEC) which aims to nurture entrepreneurship in academics and students. We aspire to inspire, enrich, and connect individuals and help them create new ventures.
FUTURE RESOURCE ABUNDANCE
The 12th edition on “Future Resource Abundance” aims to showcase how innovation and entrepreneurship can save resources to boost growth, enhance global welfare, and enable a sustainable future. We live in a time of great advancements and it is of key important to focus our efforts on increasing the quality of live of the billions on our planet. Tackling global challenges will boost global welfare, but also accelerate growth and progress, leading to a bright and sustainable future. Imagine, for instance, what would happen if technology could deliver unlimited water and energy. During this year’s TVC we want to put the individuals who are working on exactly that in the spotlight, in an effort to inspire others, exchange ideas, and push humanity’s technological frontiers.
TOPICS OF THIS YEAR'S CONFERENCE
Focussing our collective intelligence on solving grand challenges is key for a bright sustainable future. Resource abundance would allow for exponential growth,elevated global welfare, and a sustainable future. Once energy, healthcare, materials, food, and water are readily available, the opportunities are endless. We will be able to reduce global poverty and plug in more people to the global intelligence network and work our way towards a green and clean global community.
