Call for Papers

The 2015 International Conference on Soft Computing and Software Engineering (SCSE 2015).

March 5-6, 2015

Full paper submission: December 30, 2014 (Extended)

Location: University of California, Berkeley, Sutardja Dai Hall, Berkeley,California, USA

The International Conference on Soft Computing and Software Engineering (SCSE) has established itself as the premier scholarly venue in the areas of soft computing, software engineering and software architecture. Soft computing and software engineering have evolved into an active area of research and development, due to the tremendous advances in a broad spectrum of technologies and topics including software engineering, artificial intelligence applications, software defined networking, mobile software, distributed software, cloud-based software systems, and ubiquitous software. SCSE 2015 will be held in UC Berkeley from March 5-6, 2015 and will provide a leading edge, scholarly forum for researchers, engineers, and students alike to share their state-of-the art research and developmental work in the broad areas of soft computing and software engineering. SCSE'15 will feature a comprehensive technical program including Symposia and Tutorials and Workshops.

We invite you to submit your original technical papers (regular, short-paper or poster), and industry forum, workshop, and tutorial proposals to this event.

All accepted papers will be published in Procedia Computer Science Journal (ISSN: 1877-0509) by Elsevier and will be available in ScienceDirect.

Research contributions are solicited in all areas pertinent to soft computing and software engineering and its applications, including (not limited to):

Submission Guidelines:

Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers by the deadline for publication in the SCSE 2015 Conference Proceedings. All submissions should be written in English. Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be considered.

Regular Papers: Submitted papers must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication. They must show significant relevance to the conference topics. Papers must be 4-8 pages (maximum 2 additional page with over length page charge if accepted), including references, figures and tables (at least 10pt font).

Short-Papers: Submitted papers must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication. They must show significant relevance to soft computing and software  engineering and papers must be 2-3 pages.

Posters: Submitted papers must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication. We encourage to submit a work in progress for the poster session.  Papers must be 1-2 pages.

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the SCSE'15 site.

Submissions will undergo a peer review process handled by the Technical Program Committee. The conference includes a Best Paper Award and will support a Travel Award for one registered student or a tutorial instructor.
