Asia Carbon Energy announces its Global Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage Summit will held its 4th annual conference this autumn in Beijing 22nd-23rd October. At its 4th consecutive year, over 150 major CCUS stakeholders will participate to address progress has been made and challenges to be tackled in China and around the globe.
In the past 4 years, with a mission to connect China with global stakeholders, Global CCUS Summit has welcomed more than 420 participants at senior level; over 80 industrial experts and executives have shared their knowledge and vision on CCUS. From international R&D programs to demonstration projects, Global CCUS Summit has continued to be the comprehensive sources of CCUS in China and around the globe.
Coming to the 2013, there are debates on the future of commercialized CCUS, on the readiness of capture technologies. What are the insider’s perspectives on these critical issues? Global CCUS Summit will be gathering major stakeholders to identify challenges and explore resolutions.
Meanwhile China has emerged as one of the major influencer of deployment of CCUS at a scale. The central administrative agencies such as National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Minister of Science and Technology (MOST), has send positive signal by releasing a series of policy, R&D programs on CCUS and demonstration projects. Besides these encouraging signals, industrial communities are more interested in how key stakeholders as project developers, core technology providers and manufactures, R&D institutes and universities will response, how will these supportive policies and programs to leverage more actual progress on CCUS in China and around the world.
