Description

Description

This conference is hosted by the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. It will give a snapshot of the current state of knowledge about the brain’s networks through perspectives from neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neurology, psychiatry, psychology, structural MRI, functional brain imaging, advanced data analysis and mathematical modelling of neural networks. It will feature discussions between the speakers, and between the speakers and the audience, on how to integrate the research from these different fields. The last half day will be wholly devoted to such discussions.

The conference is built around invited lectures but also contains a poster session with submitted contributions. All poster presenters will be given the opportunity to briefly present their poster orally at a special plenary session on the poster exhibition day.

The meeting welcomes researchers and research students in neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, philosophy, and behavioural and neural modeling, as well as other participants with an interest in the brain’s networks.
