The second leg of Restaurant Business Conference 2012 to kick-off on October 22nd

CPI Events, in association with the Emirates Culinary Guild and Baking & Pastry Guild Middle East, is all set for the second leg of the Restaurant Business Conference 2012 happening on October 22nd and 23rd at The Address, Dubai Marina. Following the massive success of its first conference attended by over 438 prominent people in the hospitality sector, the two-day event has been being filled up rather quickly as it promises even fresher subjects as well as an interesting mix of speakers to further help in educating the participants regarding various facets of the industry.

With the clamour for novelty and the fierce competition amongst 4 and 5-star hotels and restaurants, leaving a memorable first impression to guests is just the midpoint of a successful dining experience – between catching attention and gaining loyalty. The conference applies a two-prong approach with Day 1 (Dining Value) seeing executive chefs, head chefs, F&B directors, purchase managers and hygiene managers learn more about food trends for 2013, adapting a green and healthy menu, understanding unique need and wants, staff empowerment to achieve guest satisfactions, food safety and sustainable sources among others.

On the other hand, hotel/restaurant owners, general managers, marketing managers and purchase managers are to engage in subjects such as optimising brand via digital marketing, localising a global brand and vice versa, thinking innovation, crisis management, design and decor for success, staff selection, training, retaining and promotion, energy and profit management and sustainability on Day 2, Driving Value. To join the interactive round-table discussions, keynote addresses and networking sessions are industry experts from prestigious international hotels and restaurant chains. Special guest speakers include an esteemed representative from the Dubai Government.

Events and Conference Director Nayab Rafiq expresses his keenness in producing a bigger and more enhanced conference altogether this time around: “The previous conference surpassed expectations and showed how important an event such as The Restaurant Business Conference is to the growth and development of the hospitality industry, as well as the need for dialogue and innovation.”

Registration is ongoing, simply visit; attendance of the abovementioned professionals are free-of-charge. The Restaurant Business Conference 2012 is supported by the Government of Dubai, its Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Dubai Green Tourism Awards.
