You are invited to participate in The 2014 Global Conference on Business and Finance (GCBF) – Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.  The Conference, sponsored by The Institute for Business and Finance Research, LLC (IBFR), will be held from January 6-9, 2014 at the Ala Moana Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of business, finance, marketing, management, accounting, MIS, public administration, economics, business law, business education, agribusiness, health care administration and related fields are welcome. Case studies in all areas of business finance and related fields are also welcome. Papers do not need to be global in nature. English and Spanish language sessions will be offered. An Internet Session will be offered for those unable to make the trip to Hawaii


Paid participants can make a 15-20 minute presentation and can attend all conference events.  You can publish your paper in the conference proceedings and compete for the outstanding research award.  The Conference is affiliated with seven peer-reviewed journals: The International Journal of Business and Finance Research, International Journal of Management and Marketing Research, Global Journal of Business Research, Accounting and Taxation, Business Education and Accreditation, Review of Business and Finance Studies, and Revista Internacional Administración & Finanzas. Submit a 200-word abstract or full paper. Early submissions are greatly appreciated.  All submissions must be in Microsoft Word.


All attending participants must register and pay the non-refundable, nontransferable registration fee. Conference registration is $360 for presenting and non-presenting attendees. The registration fee for full-time students is $330. There is an US$80 fee for each additional paper. An additional $50 fee applies for papers having five or more authors. A $50 late fee applies for registration fees received after the regular payment deadline.  If your payment is not received by the final payment deadline, your participation will be cancelled. During the reception, Hors d’ouevres and soft drinks will be provided by the Institute for Business and Finance Research.  The networking luncheon will be sponsored by Accounting and Taxation.  The award banquet will be sponsored by The International Journal of Business and Finance Research and Business Education & Accreditation. Additional luncheon and banquet tickets are available for purchase for those participants attending with a guest(s) or spouse. The price per ticket is $30. These tickets are not available to non-registered co-authors.


We encourage you to stay at the conference hotels and arrange for your lodging early as the hotel will sell out well in advance of the conference during this time of year. Hotel rates for the conference start at $129 per night. These rates will be honored December 28, 2013 – January 11, 2014.
