Description
The ITiCSE 2001 conference will beheld in Canterbury and hosted by the Univesity of Kent at Canterbury. The conference will be sponsored by ACM Special Interests Groups in Computer Science Education (SIGCSE) and Computer Uses in Education (SIGCUE) and endorsed by the UK subject body for Computing, the Conference of Professors and Heads of Computing (CPHC).
The program will consist of:

Technical sessions featuring papers, panels, posters, demonstrations and 'tips & techniques' sessions

Original submissions are invited for the following categories:

We particularly encourage submissions in the following thematic areas:
The use of technology in supporting Computer Science teaching and learning.
This might include Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Graphics/Visualisation, Mobile Computing in CS Education, Electronic Forms of Class Support.
The practice of teaching Computing Science.
Submissions here might cover many subject areas (Teaching Material and Aids, Innovative Instructional Methods, etc.) Qualitative papers are encouraged, but should be more than simple descriptive accounts of practice.
Computer Science Education Research.
Submissions in this area should involve research evidence and/or use of theory to interpret learning phenomena
