Stainless Steel World Conference & Expo 2001
Venue: The Hague
|Event Date/Time: Nov 13, 2001||End Date/Time: Nov 15, 2001|
|Paper Submission Date: Jan 15, 2001|
As Chairman of Stainless Steel World 2001, Dr Michael Renner, Senior Engineering Consultant Materials at Bayer Corp., invites all materials professionals and those people who are developing their expertise towards materials to join this conference on Corrosion Resistant Alloys (CRAs).
After a very successful start in 1999, we are offering you the next conference with the same basic concept, but striving to exceed the excellent performance of the first one. The conference will include plenary presentations, workshops and poster presentations and the Stainless Steel World Expo, which attracted more than 3000 visitors in 1999. The attendees can expect to experience subjects covering material application in numerous industries. The topics vary from material selection, procurement, fabrication and welding, quality assurance, hydrotesting, newer European pressure vessel standards, case histories covering operation experiences as well as risk based inspection considerations, and additional subjects that are crucial for running economical and efficient plants.
There are numerous opportunities to network with international professionals as well as with suppliers from many countries with their latest innovations and optimisations. Overall, there are plenty of excellent reasons to attend this three-day conference.
Following the successful Stainless Steel World Conference & Expo in 1999, Stainless Steel World will organise the next Stainless Steel World Conference & Expo on corrosion-resistant alloys in The Hague, the Netherlands, from 13-15 November 2001. Again this conference will enjoy strong participation from end users, with a clear emphasis on applications and practical experiences. Workshops will play a prominent role alongside plenary paper presentations.
This year's conference theme, Meeting Challenges, reflects the development of new fields of applications, the increasing requirements from the process industry and the ongoing drive to reduce the maintenance costs and improve the plants' performance.
On the other hand new grades of corrosion-resistant alloys and fabrication techniques are being developed in order to solve materials and corrosion problems of any kind. A thorough exchange of information between users, specifiers, manufacturers, suppliers, R & D engineers, fabricators, consultants, distributors and traders will help meeting these challenges and offer solutions that cannot be found anywhere else.
The deadline for abstracts is 15 January 2001.
