| Description |
The objective of this workshop is to bring together a community of individuals involved in the creation of the standards to support applications of internet technology. This includes the work in XML for support of specific objectives, privacy considerations, incorporation of location information into IP or HTML level data to facilitate proximity based applications, and so forth. We need to cross between various communities developing these standards and take advantage of each other's work, as well as the lessons learned in the process.
The workshop will be held in conjunction with the SAINT-2001 conference. Information about the conference can be found at: http://computer.org/tab/TCI/SAINT/. The conference is January 8-12, 2001 in San Diego, California.
