Poster sessions
The posters will be displayed throughout the period of the conference and two poster sessions will be organized. The posters will be grouped in a similar way as the oral presentations. Poster boards will be 0.7 m wide and 0.85 m high.
Workshops
Workshops devoted to specific topics of interest to the participants will be included in the program (Sunday, July 1, before noon and Tuesday, July 3, evening), providing an opportunity for informal presentations and discussions. Individuals interested in organizing a workshop should contact the IPGSA Conference secretariat with the topic and suggested chairperson. The scientific committee will consider proposals up to March 31, 2001.

Submission of abstracts
Submission deadline: March 31, 2001
All invited speakers and delegates wishing to display posters or to be chosen as speakers should submit an abstract. Abstracts must be accompanied by a completed registration form, abstract form and appropriate payment. Should you request financial support, please indicate this fact in the registration form and in this case your registration need not include payment.

The authors are strongly encouraged to submit their abstracts via E-mail: IPGSA-2001@mendelu.cz as a file attachment or on a diskette by regular mail to the IPGSA Conference secretariat. The abstracts must be prepared using a Word Processor (e.g. Word, WordPerfect) saved using a rich text format (RTF). Please indicate two preferred sessions on the abstract form accompanying your contribution. Here you can download the Abstract form as a .rtf file http://www.mendelu.cz/IPGSA-2001/Abstractform.rtf

The whole abstract must be written within a frame (8 cm x 12 cm) because four abstracts should fit on one A4 page.
Type the abstract title in CAPITAL letters (Times New Roman, 12 points).
List authors names with normal lettering (TNR, 11 points). Underline the name of the presenting author. For abstracts presented by authors from more than one institution, the names must be followed by a superscripted numeral identifying each authors affiliation.
List shortened addresses of the authors institutions (TNR, 10 points).
Type the text of the abstract beginning on a new line leaving one line space after the address, normal lettering (TNR, 10 points), single spaced.
