| Description |
The Cyprus Neurological Society after the successful holding of three annual International Neurological Symposia in Nicosia, has decided to organise the 1st Mediterranean Congress of Neurology.
Colleagues from various countries such as Israel, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Greece etc, urged us to proceed with this Congress and described Cyprus as the ideal venue. Being at the crossroads between Europe, Middle East and Africa, Cyprus has excellent communication facilities and climate and is considered one of the most popular tourist destinations of our region.
The various neurological problems that affect the populations of the countries held together by the Mediterranean Sea, with the well known political and economic constraints, make it imperative that we all get together to find the best possible solutions for the sake of our people.
The 1st Mediterranean Congress of Neurology will take place in Limassol on 26-28 April 2002. The prominent members of the international scientific committee and invited speakers, the physical and historical attractions of the island of Cyprus together with the traditional hospitality of our people, guarantee a most successful congress.
