Conference and Exhibit on International Space Station Utilization—2001

This conference is a unique opportunity for researchers and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and information with Space Station personnel as well as with their colleagues.
Plenary sessions will include presentations by Space Station managers, researchers who have already conducted operations onboard, and personnel involved in new commercial initiatives for the ISS. Technical sessions will include contributed papers from the research community and the commercial community, as well as invited papers from the providers of the ISS. Technical interchange splinter sessions and panel discussions are planned for topics such as payload analytical and physical integration, remote operations, and training. Postflight reports will be presented by investigators who have conducted research thus far on ISS.

Exhibits of all of the major research facilities under development for the ISS, along with industrial "provider" booths will be on display in the Exhibit Hall. A separate ISS Hardware and Services Show-and-Tell will allow attendees to have informal one-on-one displays of new technologies and equipment, software, or other technical services.
Special tours will be provided to view the actual flight hardware and payloads for the ISS that are undergoing testing and integration at the Kennedy Space Center.
