| Description |
The Conference Program will focus on a number of emerging challenges for Australian agriculture, biosecurity and quarantine management, including current issues and developments in Australia's biosecurity managment; implications of a potential phase-out of methyl bromide for quarantine and pre-shipment purposes; and the ongoing threat of introducing invasive marine species in ships' ballast water.
The program will feature plenary and interactive panel sessions and feature national and international speakers from government, research institutions and industry.
The conference offers a unique opportunity to focus on the quarantine and market access aspects of trade in agricultural products and is doing so in a manner that will offer both broad general interest and highly specialised content to cater all interested parties attending.
