One of the world’s most renowned business gurus, Professor Gary Hamel, will be heading to Scotland, for the first time this Autumn, to urge Scots company bosses to face up to the challenges of a volatile global economy.

Professor Hamel, Research Fellow at Harvard Business School, has built a global reputation as an innovative strategic thinker. His published works include “Competing for the Future” – regarded as the best ever selling book on Corporate Strategy by the Harvard Business Review. In addition, his hands-on consulting has been deployed to a range of global corporations including Shell, Nokia and Enron.

Hamel has teamed with Aberdeen based BusinessLab to deliver direct to the Scottish business community an event to stimulate “Radical thinking for turbulent times”. Through his work, he has developed a range of thoughts and actions to move organisations away from evolving their strategies in incremental steps.
