GECCO-2002 will bring together researchers and
practitioners from all branches of evolutionary
computation. GECCO features three days of
refereed paper presentations, one day of
specialized workshops, and thirty
free tutorials.

Topics include, but are not limited to, genetic algorithms (GA); genetic programming (GP); evolution strategies (ES); evolutionary programming (EP); evolvable hardware (EH);
evolutionary robotics (ER); real-world applications (RWA); classifier systems (CS); DNA, molecular and quantum computing (DNA); artificial life, adaptive behavior agents, and ant colony optimization
(AAAA); methodology, pedagogy, and philosophy (MPP); evolutionary scheduling and routing
(ESR), and other areas to be announced.

Papers are reviewed in a blind review process by one of at
least seven separate and independent program committees.
