Participants will learn some new techniques, refurbish well-accepted EMG concepts and be introduced to the cutting edge of electrodiagnosis. Enrollees will:

* Employ basic and advanced techniques in the EMG examination
* Use the methods discussed in the course and equipment in the EMG examination
* Observe and practice in the applications of EMG techniques
* Review the use of the computer with the EMG instrumentation
* Be critiqued on individual examination and reporting techniques
* Identify wave forms associated with electromyographic findings

TRAVEL DAY, Depart St. Thomas
Each day's sessions will include practical demonstrations of electromyographic techniques and ample opportunity for practical experience by participants on EMG equipment provided by Oxford Instruments, Nicolet Biomedical, Inc., and Medtronic Functional Diagnostics. Course Faculty and representatives from each of the companies will assist in the demonstrations and practical experience.

Course hours are 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily, February 17-22 (February 16 and February 23 are travel dates).
